VB Wave
The VB Wave is the easiest way to get around the Virginia Beach Oceanfront. In its newly designed hybrid-electric shuttle, the VB Wave is also fun and inexpensive. So kick back, relax, and let us do the driving!
Take the Atlantic Avenue Route, Route 30, and ride the VB Wave from one end of Atlantic Avenue to the other. Stop along the way at shops, restaurants, museums and more. Transfer to HRT Bus Route 33 at 40th Street to go to First Landing State Park and the Association for Research and Enlightenment.*
This route is available daily, beginning May 1 until September 30, from 8 am until 2 am, with 15-minute frequencies. *HRT Bus Fare is $1.50
Take the Aquarium & Campground Shuttle, Route 31, and ride the VB Wave south to campgrounds such as the KOA and Holiday Trav-L-Park Campgrounds, tennis courts, fun parks, such as Ocean Breeze Waterpark, and to the Virginia Aquarium & Marine Science Center. Catch the Atlantic Avenue Shuttle for points north.
This route is available daily, beginning Memorial Day until Labor Day, from 8 am until 2 am, with 20-minute frequencies.
Go shopping using the Shopper’s Shuttle, Route 32, and ride the VB Wave to the trendy, upscale Hilltop area for shopping and dining. Take it a little further to Virginia Beach’s premier shopping experience, Lynnhaven Mall.
This route is available daily, beginning Memorial Day until Labor Day, from 10 am until 9 pm, with 60-minute frequencies.
